Very good, accommodation exceeded expectations. Quiet area, but a short drive for entertainment. Great terrace and garden with plenty of play facilities for children.
Good and friendly received. Enough space and well furnished for a couple with a teenager, but we sometimes missed special kitchen utensils in the kitchen. In the immediate vicinity there was not much to do outside of walking. But with the car fairly centrally located for trips, Idar-Oberstein, Herrstein, Bernkassel, Trier and various nature parks.
Arrival was fine we were well informed about how everything worked. She also informed us well what was happening in the area. The apartment was also very complete. Everything was present. Nice big apartment. Only a bit remote. There is a lot to experience in the area.
A very nice reception with a really friendly owner. Were guided around the building to our apartment. The apartment itself is pretty noisy! Really you hear ALL the sounds, from cutting a cucumber on the counter and walking in the apartment, dishwasher that the neighbors had to .... yes something of what do sometimes do. Apartment accessible via some steps outside. Cozy covered terrace where you can use the BBQ and can stay. The mattresses on the beds are indeed HARD. Towel and bed linen is included, even with a glass of wine during our stay. Kitchen quite complete though our promised dishwasher probably on holiday and in no fields or way to confess. Environment is really beautiful with a huge peace in the Dal. The promised mobile baker who would come 3 days a week, we did not see between the times given and far beyond. The nearest village is 15km away and really has everything. In the middle of nature, we sometimes were dawdled with deer standing on the road or crossing. You can also go hiking. A great stay for a mid-week or a weekend!
We were kindly received and personally guided by the room. This looked very neat and cozy. The owners were easily accessible for questions and spoke excellent English. Do not expect too much from the environment. It is very beautiful and we have seen many deer, but for the nearest supermarket we had to drive fifteen minutes. This was not a problem for us, but if you're used to a supermarket in a 5-minute walk, you have to set this up. ATTENTION To get to the rooms you have to go up a staircase. Not a very high one, but just awkward for a pram, for example.
