Write your holiday letters at the antique roll-top desk and gaze out at the blooming flowerbeds outside the window. Here, every piece of furniture has its own unique story. Most date back to the time the house was built, including the wonderful tiled stove in the living room. You can warm up by it if you return chilled to the bone during the cooler months.

In the bedroom, you can enjoy the view of the orchards with grazing cows. The wall covering features the classic fabric "Strawberry Thief" by the English designer William Morris, whose motifs fit perfectly into this house.

In the bright, spacious bathroom, the tiled floor shines, so beautifully that you'd think it had always been there. Fortunately, Villeroy & Boch recently reissued this series. This is just in time for the complete bathroom renovation.

Apart from five steps at the entrance, the apartment is wheelchair accessible. It accommodates two people, or a maximum of three if the sofa bed is used.
