Activities in the area: Hikers and mountain bikers are in their element here: Torfhaus is an ideal entry and starting point for tours of all kinds. Numerous well-signposted hiking trails of different lengths lead through the Harz National Park. Mountain bikers can start tours of the "Volksbank Arena Harz" routes here, and those who have not brought their own bike can easily rent a mountain bike or e-bike here. The small town is also a fantastic starting point for motorcyclists for the most beautiful trips.
In winter, Torfhaus is an interesting destination for skiers, cross-country skiers and sleigh riders: some beautiful cross-country ski trails, a drag lift for skiers and a toboggan lift exclusively for sleigh riders promise varied snow fun.

Absoluut genoten van ons verblijf in de Doppelhaushaelften! De gezellige open haard en privé sauna maakten onze avonden zo ontspannen, De uitzichten vanaf het terras op de Brockenberg waren adembenemend, vooral tijdens zonsondergang!
We hadden een fantastische tijd in de Doppelhaushaelften in Torfhaus! Het geschakelde huis was ruim en comfortabel, perfect voor onze gezinsuitstap, De gezellige open haard voegde een leuke touch toe, vooral tijdens de frisse avonden, We genoten van het adembenemende uitzicht op de nationale park vanuit ons terras, dat een geweldige plek was om te ontspannen na een dag wandelen, De locatie is ideaal voor buitenliefhebbers, met talloze goed gemarkeerde paden op een steenworp afstand, Aanraden voor iedereen die wil ontsnappen in de natuur!
De locatie is perfect voor buitenliefhebbers, We hebben verschillende wandelpaden verkend vanaf de voordeur, Het huis was goed uitgerust en zeer comfortabel voor ons gezin van vier, met voldoende ruimte voor iedereen

Ons verblijf in de Doppelhaushaelften in Torfhaus was gewoonweg heerlijk! De gezellige open haard en privé sauna maakten onze avonden ongelooflijk ontspannend na een dag wandelen in Nationalpark Harz, Het ruime terras bood een prachtig uitzicht, en we genoten elke ochtend van ons ontbijt buiten, De locatie was perfect voor zowel wandelaars als mountainbikers, met volop paden direct voor onze deur, Sterk aanbevolen voor een gezinsuitje!
The holiday home was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, The sauna was a fantastic bonus after a long day of hiking in the Harz National Park
