Mountain bikers can start tours of the "Volksbank Arena Harz" routes here, and those who have not brought their own bike can easily rent a mountain bike or e-bike here. The small town is also a fantastic starting point for motorcyclists for the most beautiful trips.
In winter, Torfhaus is an interesting destination for skiers, cross-country skiers and sleigh riders: some beautiful cross-country ski trails, a drag lift for skiers and a toboggan lift exclusively for sleigh riders promise varied snow fun.

Nous avons passé un long week-end ici et avons passé un excellent moment! La maison est bien entretenue et avait une jolie cheminée qui ajoutait de la chaleur à nos soirées, Nous avons randonné dans le parc national de Harz et avons apprécié chaque minute
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in den Doppelhaushaelften absolut geliebt! Der gemütliche Kamin machte die Abende so warm und einladend, Außerdem waren die Aussichten von der Terrasse atemberaubend, besonders bei Sonnenaufgang, Perfekter Ort für Wanderer wie uns!
