'Le gîte du Domaine' in Malmedy
Description
Located at the foot of the High Fens nature reserve, this lovely holiday home near Malmedy is ideal for a holiday with family or friends. The house has a large garden and a terrace. The wonderful Thermes of Spa, just 10 minutes' drive away, are suitable for all ages all year round. You will find no less than 800 m² of indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and hot tubs.
The racing circuit Spa Francorchamps is just 600 m away and you will find famous sights nearby. Visit the historic centre of Malmedy, rich in cosy restaurants and shops, or admire the Malmundarium, Reinhardstein Castle, the Automobile Museum and Stavelot Abbey. The region is full of wonderful hiking and cycling routes (e.g. the RAVeL trails) and a day of bowling at Bowling 362 in Malmedy is also a possibility, as is a visit to Bikepark Ferme Libert and Moviemills Cinema.
The house has a living room with a fireplace, a library with board games and a seating area for relaxing. The bathrooms are equipped with many comforts and parking is available on site. The bedrooms are also neat and tidy.

It's a very big house. Too bad that the furniture is very saggy and worn. The pool is quite green. Smells a bit like chlorine, but we don't know if that's safe. The environment is fine.
Enjoyed a long weekend in this fantastic house. More spacious than the photos suggest and everything is available that is needed to relax. Location is perfect, close to the circuit and everything within a 10/15 minute drive in terms of sights or activities. Recommended
It was a beautiful house that literally had everything. From towels to washing powder to wash your clothes. They even had spices in the kitchen. You really don't need to bring anything from home. Except your meal. Rooms were spacious and fairly clean. Unfortunately the only downside was the pool. We couldn't use it because the water was very cold. Very unfortunate, because we had booked this house purely for the pool. And the rooms were also a bit cool. The heating could be a bit higher. But we had a great time in this house. Highly recommended. The owner was also very nice by the way. Thanks for everything!
Prachtig ruim huis op een geweldige locatie
Clean and well-equipped house, We enjoyed the board games in the library! It was a bit noisy at night, but the comfy beds made up for it, Perfect spot for exploring the area, Stavelot Abbey is a must-see!
Our stay at Le gîte du Domaine was absolutely delightful! The house was spacious and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect backdrop for our family getaway, The kids loved the playground, and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace, Plus, being so close to the High Fens nature reserve meant we could hike right from our doorstep!
