Semi-detached house Crasville-la-Rocquefort
Holiday home in Crasville la Roquefort
Description
Norman country life with modern comfort. The semi-detached house is located on a well-kept farm with two residential units and was renovated by the owners with great attention to detail. The kitchen and 3 bathrooms offer modern comforts, but the impressive beamed ceilings, the former large granite fireplace and many decorative elements, such as the collection of old coffee grinders, are reminiscent of a rustic past. In the garden, the semi-open gazebo reserved for you with a sheltered seating area lures you in for cozy barbecue evenings. In a few minutes you can reach the beautiful Alabaster Coast with its high cliffs, long beaches and colorful harbours. The house owner is of German origin.
Activities nearby: The offshore section of the coast offers numerous attractive destinations. To the south-west, for example, Fécamp, known for its Palais Bénédictine liqueur museum, the pleasant seaside resort of Yport and a little further Etretat, which has attracted numerous painters for centuries with its bizarre rock formations. Further north you can visit the lively port city of Dieppe and the slightly higher Bay of the Somme, which is considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The historic capital of Normandy, Rouen, with its countless church towers, narrow streets and half-timbered houses has attracted and continues to inspire many artists such as the Impressionist Claude Monet

We spent a great few days in the house, it is well equipped
we felt at home, Ms. Taiileux always gave us great tips for trips and provided us with fresh products from her farm. After our trips/tours we had a great rest and relaxation in the beautiful garden. We weren't there for the last time of the Tailleux family, It was very important and pleasant for us that Ms. Tailleux speaks perfect German, It was an all-round successful holiday for us-
Apartment was very dirty when handed over
The apartment was really great - big, nicely furnished
Nice, well-kept, and spacious house, everything neat and complete. Excellent beds, and each bedroom has its own, neat bathroom. Nice, large garden where there is always sun or shade somewhere. Very nice owners who also speak fluent German. The owners' dog likes to play with you from time to time. This house is also perfect for the less beautiful days: there are a comfortable sofa and armchairs, the dining room is spacious, the kitchen has all the trimmings. The house is quiet, in the countryside, but within a 20-minute drive are several towns and attractions. In short: excellent.
We had a wonderful stay in a very lovingly restored old half-timbered house with a beautiful garden. The landlords live right next door (everyone still has their privacy) and Ms. tailleur was an excellent host. She patiently answered all of our questions and we learned a lot about agriculture and especially flax cultivation. Thanks again! Of course, the farm dog should not go unmentioned - he is just great and infected us with his fun playing ball. In the small tobacco bar in town you can order baguette and pick it up fresh in the morning for breakfast. An all-round successful holiday for us.
