This beautiful holiday apartment for a maximum of 6 people is located on the ground floor of an authentic holiday home in St. Margarethen im Lungau in Salzburgerland, nestled between the Aineck-Katschberg ski area and the Grainwald.
The holiday apartment offers 2 bedrooms (one of them with 2 bunk beds), a bright bathroom, a large living room with an open, fully equipped kitchen and a south-facing terrace with patio furniture. Skis, ski equipment and bicycles can be stored in a locked room in the basement. Parking is available directly at the holiday home.
Nestled between the local mountain Aineck and the Grainwald, St. Margarethen im Lungau is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in the Salzburg Lungau in summer. There are around 60 mountain lakes in Salzburg's Lungau, such as the Prebersee or the Schlierersee, the Lungau/Katschberg golf club is very close to the town center and for swimming fun you can go to the St. Margarethen swimming pond and the outdoor pools in St. Michael, Mauterndorf, Mariapfarr or Tamsweg.
St. Margarethen in Lungau is about 30 minutes by car from Lake Millstatt and 45 minutes by car from Lake Weissensee. The Aineck-Katschberg ski area offers 70 kilometers of slopes and 16 lifts. In total, with the neighboring Grosseck - Speiereck ski areas, the Fanningberg family adventure mountain and the Obertauern ski area, there are a further 250 kilometers of slopes available in the entire area.
St. Margarethen in Lungau is the valley town of the top ski region of Katschberg. The apartment is 100 m from the ski lift (Katschberg ski area) and 600 m from the center of Sankt Margarethen im Lungau with numerous shops and restaurants.

Great apartment with all the trimmings. We do miss a parasol for the terrace.
Apartment building is called residenz Monica, while on our booking info it is referred to as Silverjet. After arrival, contacted the Austrian hostess (Bellvilla calls it 'caretaker') to indicate that nothing was missing or broken (as is requested in the information society of the house) and to indicate that we would like to use of the Lungau card. This card gives you the opportunity to undertake activities in the area at a reduced rate. A fairly common way of doing things in Austria. However, the hostess we received from Bellvilla turned out to be no longer connected to the apartment. So we could not indicate that we have arrived, and we could not use Lungaucard (ie. Only available through accommodation and not at the local tourist office). Called Bellvilla if they could give me the name of a new caretaker. Although the people on the phone are friendly, I ended up having to call three times and email twice. Result: no answers to my questions. A bit of a shame, but never mind. Not a second time Bellvilla for us in any case.Apartment is spacious and ok in itself. Not very clean, but after taking the vacuum cleaner in hand and removing the cobwebs, it was all right.
Top location on the slopes and great apartment. Everything you need is available. We will definitely be back.
The apartment is right on the slopes. You can reach the gondola via a short button lift or on foot. The location is very quiet. The apartment was well equipped, including bed linen and enough towels. Cons: Many things were already very worn or broken. Light bulbs in the bedside lamps were missing and were not replaced when asked. Beds are not that comfortable.
The apartment looked good and was neat and clean. However, the arrival was less. There is no one on site, which is stated in the travel documents. We also understood that a Lungau card is available in the region. You would receive this from the landlord, but if it is not there, it is difficult to obtain it. Mountain railways are also open to a limited extent. There is no privacy on the terrace. People from neighboring houses just walk on your terrace. Furthermore, had a great holiday.
